Alex J. Bellamy is Professor of International Security at Griffith University, Australia and Non-Resident Senior Adviser at the International Peace Institute, New York. Previously, he served as founding Executive Director of the Asia Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to Protect at The University of Queensland. He is co-editor in chief of the journal Global Responsibility to Protect.
