Yoga Haven Founder and Director, Betsy Kase, 500-RYT, has been practicing yoga since 1991. Her personal life, at that time, along with her work in patient education and caring for those dealing with HIV, hemophilia, and fertility treatments was stressful and challenging. She found, after many years of searching, a sense of internal peace in her first yoga class._Her passion in improving quality of life is evident and her yoga teachers encouraged her to enter yoga teacher training in 1995. Three years later she began renting a small space to hold her own classes in New York_– Yoga Haven was born. Since 1997, Yoga Haven has expanded significantly, offering over 75 classes a week to all levels and in January 2012, Yoga Haven 2 in Scarsdale opened its doors. She has succeeded in creating an environment where everyone can find a class or style suited to their individual needs. She lives in Tuckahoe, NY.]]
