This volume is mainly centered on a vast range of the laws of statistical distributions met in diverse scientific and technical domains. These laws are indispensable to understand the probability behavior of components and mechanical structures exploited in quality control. We present not only the laws of distribution of diverse models but also the tests of adequacy suited to confirm or counter the hypothesis of the law in question, namely the tests of Pearson (??2), of Kolmogorov-Smirnov (KS) and many other relevant tests. This volume distinguishes itself from the other bibliographical works by its originality to present an educational approach which aims at helping the users both in the specialized schools and in the industry. We also present several cases of sampling plans and its applications in the industries. In plus, we added several solved case of studies upon The main indicators of capability according to ISO / TS 16949, ISO 8258 and FORD.
