Andrew Mason is Professor of Economics at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and Senior Fellow and former Director of the Program on Population at the East-West Center. He has served on advisory committees and as a consultant to the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the US National Academy
of Sciences, the US Agency for International Development, and the United Nations.
Georges Tapinos is Professor of Economics at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques, Paris, and a former General Secretary of IUSSP.
