Kaoru Sugihara has been Professorial Research Associate in the Department of History at SOAS, University of London, since July 1996, as well as Professor of Economic History in the Graduate School of Economics, Osaka University. He is Visiting Scholar at the Reischauer Institute of Japanese Studies,
Harvard University until March 2004.
