CYNTHIA DEFELICE has written numerous novels for young readers, including three previous Allie Nichols adventures: The Ghost of Fossil Glen, winner of the Texas Bluebonnet Award, The Ghost and Mrs. Hobbs, and The Ghost of Cutler Creek. She lives in upstate New York, at the site of a former Seneca Indian village.
