Louise Penny was an award-winning journalist with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. After years covering disasters and politics, she quit in order to write crime fiction. Louise lives with her husband Michael in a small village south of Montreal where she is currently at work on her second Armand Gamache mystery.
