B.N. GHOSH is currently Professor of Economics at the Eastern Mediterranean University, North Cyprus, Turkey. He is also Director (Hon.) of the Centre of the Study of Human Development at Leeds, UK. He has written a large number of books and published extensively in refereed professional journals. He has undertaken short-term consultancies for various organizations including UNDP, UGC and the Government of Malaysia. He is the Chief Editor of the International Journal of Human Development.

HALIL M. GUVEN, a former Professor at San Diego State University, California, USA, is the Rector of Eastern Mediterranean University, North Cyprus, Turkey. He has published books and monographs on technology transfer, leadership paradigm and higher education, the growth and clash of civilizations and the economic analysis of electricity consumption. He was a Fulbright scholar and has received numerous recognitions and awards from international organizations, including one from USDOE.
