Many believe that, by closing the leadership gap, institutions would become more centered on process (often viewed as feminized concerns) rather than focused on tasks and outcomes (attributed to masculine leadership). This report explores the past and present of women's roles in higher education, analyzing the lack of women's leadership and the reasons behind the phenomenon.
