Study Writing is for advanced students who need to write in English for their studies or for their work. Part 1 explores different aspects of organizing information in writing, such as classifying, defining, and describing sequences and cycles. Part 2 concerns the structure of whole texts. The book concentrates on writing as a process, with many opportunities for group work. Students work through a wide range of tasks that lead them from short pieces of guided writing to longer texts with less guidance. Included in the book is a Teacher's Guide with detailed suggestions on individual units.
