Jim Arnosky is the author-illustrator of numerous award-winning picture books about natural history, including Crinkleroot's Nature Almanac and Crinkleroot's Visit to Crinkle Cove. He has won the Eva L. Gordon Award for his outstanding children's science literture and the Christoper Award for his classic work, Drawing form Nature. As School Library Journal says, "Nobody captures nature's whims and wiles better than Jim Arnosky." He lives in South Ryegate, Vermont, with his wife, Deanna.
