Summer Sanders won four medals (two gold, one silver, one bronze) swimming at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. Since retiring from competitive sports, she has proven equally as successful in broadcasting, hosting Nickelodeon's game show Figure It Out!, co-hosting NBC's NBA Inside Stuff, and commentating at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, the 1994 NCAA Championships, and the U.S. Nationals. She actively tours the country speaking to kids and parents about the importance of participating in competitive sports. Born and raised in northern California, Summer and her husband, Olympic-gold-medalist swimmer Mark Henderson, now live in New York City.
