Attilio Boccazzi-Varotto was born in Turin in 1936. He worked as a writer and photographer, often using the rotating camera featured in this volume, and produced 360-degree portraits of cities like Milan, Rome, Turin, and Venice, and some of the most beautiful natural regions of Europe, like Mont Blanc and the Dolomites. He died in 1995.
