Naomi Wolf lives inWashington, D.C. Her first two books, The Beauty Myth and Fire with Fire, international bestsellers, were both New York Times Notable Books of the Year. The New York Times called The Beauty Myth one of the seventy most significant books of the century. Wolf's essays appear regularly in The New Republic, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Glamour, Ms., and other publications. She lectures widely on women's issues, and recently taught a course on the language of politics at George Washington University, where she is a Visiting Scholar.
