Colin White is a Professor in the Graduate School of Management at La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia. The school, which he established, has an international reputation, with links to over 100 universities worldwide, and offers teaching and training programs throughout Asia. Colin himself has worked at Leningrad University, the University of Wales, Swansea, Kansai Gaidai University in Japan and teaches regularly in China. He has written a number of books concerning economic development in the USA, Russia, Australia and the Pacific Rim.
